- Mix Sugars and Butter: In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Mix thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
- Add Eggs: Add the eggs one at a time to the sugar-butter mixture, beating well after each addition until the batter becomes glossy and smooth.
- Add Dry Ingredients: Sift together the cocoa powder and all-purpose flour, then gently fold into the wet mixture. Stir just until combined to avoid overmixing, which could make the brownies tough.
- Fold in Chocolate Chips: Gently fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips to distribute them evenly throughout the batter.
