Description

This Crock Pot Cheesy Ravioli is a comforting, easy-to-make meal perfect for busy days. Layers of frozen ravioli, a savory mixture of pasta sauce and tomatoes, and a blend of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese slow-cooked to perfection in your crock pot. Itโ€™s a hands-off dish that delivers cheesy, hearty flavors with minimal effort.

Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients

  • 1 large jar (48 ounces) pasta sauce of your choice (we like Ragu’s traditional sauce)
  • 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes, drained
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 bag (25 ounces) frozen ravioli
  • 2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crock Pot: Spray the insert of a large crock pot (7 quart recommended) with non-stick cooking spray to prevent sticking and make cleanup easier.
  2. Mix Sauce Ingredients: In a separate bowl, combine the pasta sauce, drained diced tomatoes, and minced garlic, stirring until well blended.
  3. Layer the Ingredients: Spoon one-third of the sauce mixture into the bottom of the crock pot. Add one-third of the frozen ravioli on top. Evenly sprinkle one-third of both mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses over the ravioli.
  4. Repeat Layers: Repeat the layering process two more times, starting with sauce, then ravioli, and finishing with cheese on top to create three layers total.
  5. Cook: Cover the crock pot with the lid and cook on low heat for 3 to 4 hours, or until the ravioli is heated through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Serve: Once cooked, serve warm and enjoy this cheesy, hearty crock pot meal.

Notes

  • Use your favorite pasta sauce for different flavor variations.
  • Ensure ravioli is frozen, do not thaw before cooking.
  • Cooking times may vary depending on your crock pot, so check after 3 hours for doneness.
  • For added flavor, consider adding fresh basil or Italian seasoning to the sauce mixture.
  • Leftovers can be refrigerated and gently reheated in a microwave or oven.
