Description

A warm and spicy Fireball Apple Cider cocktail combining hot apple cider with fiery Fireball whiskey, garnished with cinnamon sugar, fresh apple slices, cinnamon sticks, and star anise for a cozy fall-inspired drink.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 5 ounces Hot Apple Cider
  • 2 ounces Fireball Whiskey

Optional Garnishes

  • 1 ounce Cool Apple Cider (for glass rim)
  • Cinnamon Sugar (for glass rim)
  • Red Apple Slices (3 thin slices, for garnish)
  • Cinnamon Sticks (1 per glass, for garnish)
  • Whole Star Anise (a couple, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Glass Rim: Pour about 1 ounce of cool apple cider onto a small plate. Dip the rim of your serving glass into the cider to moisten it.
  2. Coat the Rim with Cinnamon Sugar: Spread cinnamon sugar on a clean plate. Carefully dip the wet rim of the glass into the cinnamon sugar to create a flavorful and decorative coating.
  3. Add Fireball Whiskey: Pour 2 ounces of Fireball whiskey into the glass, taking care not to disturb the cinnamon sugar rim.
  4. Pour Hot Apple Cider: Pour 5 ounces of hot apple cider into the glass. The drink will naturally mix itself at this point.
  5. Add Apple Slice Garnish: Stack three thin slices of red apple on a cocktail pick, fanning them out. Position the pick so the apple fan rests in the front and slightly to the side of the glass.
  6. Add Final Garnishes: Place a cinnamon stick inside the glass on the opposite side of the apple fan. Add a couple whole star anise inside the glass for aromatic appeal.
  7. Serve and Enjoy: Present your Fireball Apple Cider warm and savor the spicy sweetness.

Notes

  • The cool apple cider rim is optional but adds a nice contrast in temperature and flavor.
  • Adjust the amount of Fireball whiskey to your preferred level of spiciness.
  • Use fresh, hot apple cider for the best warm, comforting flavor.
  • The cinnamon sugar rim adds extra sweetness and a festive touch.
  • Garnishes not only look beautiful but also enhance the aroma and flavor of the drink.
