Instructions

- Melt the Chocolate: Place the chopped semi-sweet chocolate in a heatproof bowl. Pour the hot cream over the chocolate and let it sit for 1-2 minutes to soften. Stir gently until the chocolate melts completely and the mixture is smooth.
- Add Nutella and Flavorings: Stir in the Nutella, vanilla extract, and salt until the mixture is fully combined and smooth.
- Chill the Mixture: Cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, until the mixture is firm enough to scoop and shape.
- Form the Truffles: Using a small cookie scoop or teaspoon, portion out the chilled mixture. Roll each portion between your palms to create smooth, round truffles.
- Coat the Truffles: Place the cocoa powder or your preferred coating in a shallow bowl. Roll each truffle evenly in the coating to cover the surface completely.
- Chill and Serve: Arrange the coated truffles on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up before serving for best texture and flavor.
