Description

These Oreo Reese’s Fudge Brownies combine rich, fudgy chocolate brownies with crunchy Oreo cookies and creamy Reese’s peanut butter cups for an indulgent treat. Featuring a moist, chewy texture and a perfect balance of chocolate and peanut butter flavors, these ultimate brownies are perfect for parties, celebrations, or any chocolate lover’s craving.

Ingredients

Scale

Brownie Base

  • ¾ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1½ cups granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp baking powder

Mix-Ins

  • 12 Oreo cookies, roughly chopped
  • 12 mini Reese’s peanut butter cups, halved
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat & Prep: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper to prevent sticking and allow easy removal of brownies once baked.
  2. Make the Brownie Batter: In a mixing bowl, whisk the melted butter and granulated sugar until the mixture is glossy and smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract. Next, sift together the unsweetened cocoa powder, all-purpose flour, salt, and baking powder, then gently fold them into the wet ingredients just until combined, being careful not to overmix.
  3. Layer the Good Stuff: Fold in half of the roughly chopped Oreo cookies and the semi-sweet chocolate chips into the brownie batter. Pour this mixture evenly into the prepared baking pan. Then, press the remaining chopped Oreos and halved Reese’s peanut butter cups evenly on top of the batter for an irresistible textured topping.
  4. Bake: Bake the brownies for 30–35 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the center is set but still fudgy. A toothpick inserted into the center should come out with moist crumbs but no wet batter. After baking, allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan for clean, bakery-style squares before slicing.

Notes

  • For extra gooey brownies, slightly underbake by about 2 minutes.
  • Chilling the brownies for 1 hour before cutting helps achieve perfect, clean edges.
  • Sprinkle flaky sea salt on top before baking for a delightful sweet and salty flavor contrast.
  • After cooling, drizzle melted peanut butter over the brownies for an added peanut buttery richness.
