These S’mores Rice Krispies Treats combine classic camping flavors into a gooey, crunchy dessert that’s perfect for any occasion. Layers of buttery marshmallow cereal treats alternate with crunchy Golden Grahams, mini marshmallows, and melted chocolate pieces to create a fun twist on the traditional Rice Krispies treat.

- 6 tablespoons salted butter
- 1 (12-ounce) bag jumbo marshmallows
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 2 cups Golden Grahams cereal
- 2 1/2 cups mini marshmallows (divided)
- 4 Hershey bars (broken into pieces)
Instructions
- Prepare Pan: Line a 9×9 inch baking dish with parchment paper or lightly butter it to prevent sticking.
- Melt Butter and Marshmallows: In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the jumbo marshmallows and stir continuously until the mixture becomes smooth and fully melted.
- Add Vanilla and Cereals: Remove the saucepan from heat, stir in the vanilla extract. Then fold in the Rice Krispies, Golden Grahams, and 1 1/2 cups of mini marshmallows until everything is evenly coated and combined.
- Layer the Mixture: Spread half of the cereal mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle half of the Hershey bar pieces and mini marshmallows evenly on top of the layer.
- Add Remaining Mixture and Toppings: Carefully spread the remaining cereal mixture over the top, pressing gently to hold it all together without compacting it too much. Finish by distributing the remaining Hershey bar pieces and mini marshmallows over the surface.
- Cool and Serve: Allow the treats to cool completely at room temperature until set. Once firm, cut into squares and serve.
Notes
- Use parchment paper for easier removal and cleanUp.
- Press the second layer gently to keep the treats fluffy and prevent them from becoming too dense.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature to keep them fresh for up to 3 days.
