Fruits
- 2 frozen bananas, broken into chunks
- 1/2 cup strawberries
- 1/4 cup frozen raspberries
Additional Ingredients
- 2 scoops Ka’Chava Vanilla Protein Powder
- 1 tbsp almond butter
- 1 tsp vanilla paste or vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Garnish
- 3 large dollops coconut yogurt
- Crushed freeze-dried strawberries for decoration
Instructions
- Prepare Ingredients: Break the frozen bananas into smaller chunks or cut them to ensure your blender can process them smoothly without strain.
- Blend the Smoothie: Add the cashew milk, frozen bananas, strawberries, frozen raspberries, Ka’Chava Vanilla Protein Powder, almond butter, vanilla paste, and pinch of salt into a high-powered blender. Start blending on low speed for 30 seconds to combine the ingredients, then gradually increase to medium-high speed and blend for an additional 2 minutes until smooth and creamy.
- Create the Coconut Yogurt Swirl: Place three large dollops of coconut yogurt at the bottom of your glass. Using a spoon, gently swirl the yogurt up the sides of the glass to form an attractive marbled effect.
- Decorate the Glass: Sprinkle crushed freeze-dried strawberries onto the sides of the glass to enhance the visual appeal and add a slightly tart crunch.
- Serve and Enjoy: Pour the blended smoothie over the coconut yogurt swirls and serve immediately for a refreshing, nutritious treat.
Notes
- Use ripe bananas that have been frozen; they provide natural sweetness and creamy texture.
- Adjust the amount of protein powder based on your dietary needs or preference.
- For a thinner smoothie, add more cashew milk as needed.
- If you don’t have freeze-dried strawberries, fresh or frozen finely chopped strawberries can be used for garnish.
- You can substitute almond butter with other nut butters like cashew or peanut butter for different flavor twists.
